Quarantine Services

Quarantine is one of the major bureaucratic hurdles when transporting any animal across international borders.  IRT has long standing and valuable experience in dealing with many of the world's quarantine authorities, to see that the horses in our care meet the wishes of both local regulators and the horse's owner.

Our services include:

• Farms with suitable facilities and locations
• Inspection and approval of these farms by appropriate authorities
• Grooms to supervise handling, feeding & specialised individual needs
• Farrier
• Equine veterinary practitioner "on call"
• Clipping where necessary

For exports we use a series of strategically located farms near ports of departure providing competent care and facilities.
